Information for those attending a TEC retreat
We are excited that you have decided to attend a TEC retreat. Whether youth or adult, the information below is intended to answer basic questions and help you prepare in advance of the retreat.
When does the retreat start?
Retreat participants can arrive at the hosting congregation to verify their registration starting at 9am on the Saturday of the retreat. Please arrive no later than 9:30am on Saturday to allow time to check in as the weekend begins promptly at 10am.
When does the retreat end?
The weekend ends at 6pm Monday evening.
The setting
Is a fresh, different atmosphere away from home and school, in an accepting community of Christians who are willing to share themselves and their experiences-in talks, worship, prayer, fellowship, recreation, music and activities-because they care about how you see yourself, your ideals, your hopes, your dreams and your problems. Participants stay and sleep at the host congregation for the entire retreat.
