Organizational Structure:
How is Show-Me Lutheran TEC organized?
Show-Me Lutheran TEC is a volunteer, not-for-profit organization or community that hosts three day retreats for young people. Show-Me Lutheran TEC operates under a complete constitution and set of by-laws. The organization is led by an elected Board of Directors consisting of LCMS adults, LCMS clergy and youth along with an appointed set of Advisors and Loving Task individuals. All positions, elected or appointed, are volunteer. The organization is self-supported by retreat fees and charitable donations. Show-Me Lutheran TEC also has a copyrighted manual that is used to facilitate each retreat and ensure consistency.
The Board of Directors holds open meetings approximately four times each year as scheduled. The Board of Directors hosts semi-annual meetings of the community each year. The community elects the directors at the semi-annual meetings.
